MAREA is engineered with a strict local-first privacy architecture. All birth dates, birth times, geographic locations, and client consultation records entered into the application are calculated and stored entirely inside your browser (Local Storage). No chart data is ever uploaded to our servers.
When you purchase a MAREA Pro license, your payment information (email address, billing address, and payment method) is processed directly by Paddle.com Market Ltd as our Merchant of Record. Paddle processes your data under strict GDPR and international compliance standards to deliver your receipt and license key.
We use standard HTML5 Web Storage (localStorage) solely to store your app preferences, such as:
marea_pro_unlocked: Stores your Pro status locally on your device.marea_language: Saves your preferred UI language (English/Japanese).marea_branding: Saves your custom salon name and logo adjustments locally.You can clear this data at any time by clearing your browser's local cache.
Under GDPR and CCPA regulations, you have the right to access, rectify, or request deletion of any personal data. Because MAREA does not maintain customer databases of user chart records on our servers, full control over your client records remains entirely on your local device.
